SuperScanner

The cashier is the main human contact in the supermarket and they embody the store for the customer. Yet it seems this position may disappear in favour of automated devices. SuperScanner is a scenario for the cashier experience. The cashier is a hostess or a host, who informs the client and assists in the collection of the products, she/he does not have to carry the product anymore and is not required to perform repetitive movements. Their workspace is released and they can be closer to the customers. The commissioner has tested this display at the supermarket "Intermarché Buc" (Versailles, France).
